Image recovery for working photographers
Found.Licensed.Paid.
Framis watches the open web for commercial use of your photography that was never licensed — then recovers the fee, in your name, on your terms. You approve every case. We only earn when you’re paid.

The morning it finds something
While you were shooting, Framis was checking.
Every photograph you upload is fingerprinted. Overnight, those fingerprints are swept against the commercial web — charter listings, brokerages, hotel sites, magazines. When a confirmed match surfaces, it arrives in your queue exactly like this: valued, evidenced, and waiting for one decision from you.
Approve it, and Framis pursues the licence in your name. Decline it, and nothing is ever sent. The domain stays masked until you decide — so the decision is always yours, never forced.

The position
Unlicensed use isn’t theft you have to chase. It’s licensing you haven’t collected.
The brokerages, charter sites and magazines running your work without asking are not enemies. They are customers who skipped the invoice. Framis treats them exactly that way — a measured, professional offer to license what they are already using, at your rates, under a proper agreement.
Most pay. The ones who refuse face a formal takedown. Either way, you never write a single email, and your name stays exactly as professional as it was before.
How it works
From discovery to payment, without your weekend.
01 / Found
Fingerprinted, swept nightly
Each upload gets a perceptual fingerprint. Computer-vision sweeps compare it against the open web every night. Only confirmed matches reach you — ranked by what they're worth.
02 / Approved
Nothing moves without you
You see the masked match, the usage, the estimated value. One click approves the recovery; one click dismisses it. Decline, and that site is never contacted.
03 / Licensed
A firm offer, in your name
A measured letter offers a retroactive licence at your rates — citing the true legal basis, never inventing threats. A five-stage follow-up, with discounts you control, does the chasing.
04 / Paid
Settled by card, licensed by PDF
The infringer pays through a secure payment link. The licence document issues automatically. 60% of every settlement is yours — our 40% exists only when money moves.

The arithmetic
Sixty percent of every settlement is yours. Our forty exists only when money moves — which keeps us working on the cases worth winning.
Free to protect
Your first 100 images are monitored at no cost — no card, no commitment. Larger libraries move to a plan when you're ready.
No recovery, no fee
Framis takes 40% of money actually collected — and nothing else, ever. If a case doesn't pay, you owe nothing.
Paid plans coming soon
Starter, Pro and Studio plans — scaling monitoring to 10,000 images with priority scanning — are launching soon.
Full plan details on the pricing page.
Built to stand up
Recovery only works if every step is defensible.
Proof anchored on Bitcoin
Every capture is fingerprinted and timestamped with OpenTimestamps the moment it's found — independently checkable by anyone, forever.
Lawful by design
Recovery letters cite the true legal basis for licence-fee damages and carry the data-protection notices the law requires. No invented threats, no bluffing.
You hold the pen
Your rates. Your tone presets. Your named clients off-limits. Every case individually approved by you before a word is sent.
Escalation with teeth
If a fair offer is ignored through five stages, a formal takedown notice goes to the site's hosting provider — and the page they wouldn't pay for comes down.
Built for
Photographers whose work lives on the open web.
Yacht & marine
Charter listings, broker pages, shipyard sites. Your images re-sell across the whole market.
Luxury real estate
High-end brokerages lift portfolio images onto new listings every week — often without a licence to show for it.
Editorial & travel
Aggregator sites and destination blogs scrape without attribution or payment.
Commercial & brand
Expired licences that keep running. Regions not covered. Past clients that never renewed.
Asked, answered
The questions every photographer asks first.
Is this legal?
Yes. Using a photograph commercially without a licence creates a genuine claim for the licence fee under copyright law. Framis pursues that claim as a professional licensing offer — citing the true legal basis, with the data-protection notices the law requires.
Will it upset my clients?
You name your clients and their domains, and they're excluded from outreach entirely. Beyond that, nothing is ever sent without your per-case approval — you decide exactly which sites are contacted.
What if a match isn't my photo?
Mark it “Not mine” and it's removed from your queue — no contact is ever made. Only matches confirmed by fingerprint analysis reach you in the first place; uncertain ones are held back for review.
How does Framis get paid?
40% of money actually collected — that's the whole model. Monitoring your first 100 images is free. Paid plans for larger libraries are coming soon. There are no other fees.
What happens after I approve a case?
Framis sends a measured licence offer in your name, follows up through five stages on a schedule, takes payment by secure card link, issues the licence document automatically, and shows you the settlement in your payout dashboard.
Is my portfolio safe with you?
Your uploads are used for one thing: fingerprinting and matching. Framis never licenses, sells or republishes your images — recovery offers only ever cover uses that already happened without you.
